Civil Guard agents from the Guacimeta Airport have arrested a male with initials R.L.D., of Spanish nationality and 20 years of age as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of mistreatment in the family environment and breach of sentence (restraining order), by throwing or throwing his 16-month-old son to the ground during an argument with his partner. All this while they were waiting in the baggage claim area of a flight from Seville around 8:30 this Saturday.
It was the rest of the passengers who notified the Civil Guard present in the area, whose agents arrested RLD and also had to safeguard and protect him from those who were berating him. The emergency services transferred the child of "16 months of age to the Molina Orosa Hospital with a head injury", according to reports from CECOES, as a result of the aggression.
The detainee is being held in the cells of the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise until he is brought before the corresponding Court on duty in Arrecife, within a maximum period of 72 hours.
