Yaiza Civil Protection rescued a man lost in the Los Ajaches Natural Monument on Friday night in coordinated action with the Yaiza Civil Guard. At around 9:30 p.m., the Benemérita alerted the southern Group of the distress situation the man was in, and he was finally located in good health after an hour and a half of intense searching.
Once the service was activated, Civil Protection began the operation with a 4x4 unit that ended with the location of the person in a place of difficult access on the side of a mountain between the El Higueral ravine and the hill of El Pozo. The troops hydrated and covered the man with a blanket to warm him up and then evacuated him through the Maciot area.
