A car was completely burned by the flames in Puerto del Carmen. The fire occurred at about one in the morning on Juan Carlos I street in the tourist town, according to the Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted by CECOES, agents of the Local Police of Tías, Civil Guard, Civil Protection, firefighters of the Consortium and volunteer firefighters of Lanzarote moved to the place.
The volunteer firefighters arrived first at the site and after assessing the situation began to extinguish the fire with water and foam. Once controlled, the firefighters of the Consortium continued with the tasks until total extinction.
