A man assaulted on Tuesday morning a homeless person who was sitting on the sidewalk next to the Open Mall Shopping Center, in Arrecife. Specifically, the individual gave the person a kick to the head, as can be seen in the recording.
It was a citizen who was taking her minor son to school who saw the aggression. After observing the situation, she asked him to stop, but the alleged aggressor continued assaulting the person.
According to her account, the homeless person was asleep and saw how the alleged perpetrator of the acts approached next to his head. "I approached and told him not to hit him because the man was calm and he started to verbally assault me and tried to assault me too before the gaze of passers-by, children and my four-year-old son", she has recounted to La Voz.
This citizen asks the Arrecife City Council to help this person in a situation of homelessness so that they can go to some shelter or another space where they have a roof and food.
