Alerted by the Lanzarote Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES), an emergency device moved to Las Palmeras Avenue in Costa Teguise, after a collision of two vehicles.
Upon the arrival of the firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, one of the vehicles involved was laterally overturned off the road and another on its wheels on the road. The only occupant of the vehicles was already outside the passenger compartment. This has been reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The firefighters carried out a primary assessment of the injured person, providing basic assistance until the arrival of the paramedics of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC). Subsequently, the disconnection of the batteries of both vehicles was carried out to avoid electrical or fire risks.
Once the Civil Guard and the Local Police completed the accident report, the vehicles were placed on their wheels and the road was cleaned to restore road safety.
