Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire in Arrecife, according to the Emergency Consortium. The vehicle was completely incinerated, with no personal injuries reported.

The fire took place on Luján Pérez street in the capital of Lanzarote around 8:25 AM this Monday, April 27. Agents from the National Police, Local Police, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene.

Once at the scene, emergency personnel confirmed that the car was completely engulfed in flames, with a risk of spreading to other vehicles parked nearby due to thermal radiation. Immediately, they began the extinguishment using water and foam, managing to control and fully extinguish the fire.

Once extinguished, review work was carried out to rule out possible ignitions, with the area finally secured.

The police officers were in charge of the security of the area and collaborated with the emergency personnel.
