Two young people injured after the car they were traveling in went off the road near Tías

The accident, which occurred around one in the morning, left two occupants with various traumas and mobilized numerous emergency resources

In the early hours of this Saturday, around one o'clock, emergency services were activated by 112 following a traffic accident in the municipality of Tías, where a vehicle went off the road.

Upon the arrival of the intervention teams, the operational area was zoned off and the two young occupants of the car were assessed. They were already outside the vehicle, alongside the technical personnel from the SUC and the Consortium firefighters. Likewise, work was carried out to mitigate the risks present at the scene

One of the injured, a 23-year-old young man, presented moderate injuries and was transferred by a basic life support ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital. The second affected, a 20-year-old young man, suffered a head injury and was evacuated by a medicalized ambulance to the same hospital center.

During the intervention, the teams disconnected the battery and marked the vehicle, ensuring the safety of the area.

The operation involved the Local Police of Tías, Civil Guard of Traffic, Consortium Firefighters, Civil Protection of Tías, and Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote
