Two Local Police officers from Tinajo saved the life of a 60-year-old man who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest on Barranco Tinache street, in the town of El Cuchillo, according to the CECOES.
The 112 received a call around 3:30 PM this Thursday reporting that a man had suffered cardiac arrest, so the necessary emergency resources were immediately activated.
Upon arriving at the scene, two female Local Police officers began to perform basic resuscitation maneuvers and after using the defibrillator, they managed to restore his pulse.
Upon arrival, SUC personnel confirmed that the affected individual had suffered cardiorespiratory arrest and, once stabilized, was transferred in critical condition by a medicalized ambulance to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Civil Guard agents also arrived at the scene, collaborating with the deployed resources, and two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Services (SUC), one with medical personnel and another with basic life support.
