Two people were injured in the early hours of this Saturday, August 9, after the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on La Palma street, in Puerto del Carmen (Tías). According to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium, the car overturned laterally after colliding with another vehicle that was parked.
The Emergency Coordinating Center (CECOES) activated the alert at 06:49 hours, mobilizing personnel from the Central Park and South Park, as well as Bravo 2 and Bravo 5 units of the Consortium, who traveled to the scene. Agents of the Civil Guard, Local Police and personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) were already there, who attended to the two occupants of the damaged car, who were outside the vehicle upon their arrival and were evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The firefighters proceeded to disconnect the car's battery and, once it was removed by the crane, cleaned the road to restore normality to the road. The service was terminated after these actions.
