Two people were injured after the car they were traveling in veered off the road on the Yaiza highway, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred around one in the morning when CECOES was alerted. Following the notice, agents from the Local Police, Civil Guard, two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The medical personnel assisted the two occupants of the vehicle and, after stabilizing them, evacuated them in ambulances to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
The police officers were in charge of carrying out the corresponding report. For their part, the firefighters disconnected the batteries and marked the vehicle with tape.
