Volunteer firefighters of Lanzarote (Boluntis) intervened this Friday in the fire of containers in Tías. The workers were alerted by two container fires in different parts of the municipality.
On the one hand, the first alert occurred approximately at 5:00 p.m. It was a container located on the LZ-504 road. Once at the scene, they verified that the incident occurred inside the container, although it did not affect its structure. To extinguish the flames, they proceeded to do so with a layer of medium-expansion foam.
The second occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the Violetas del Teide road. Once at the scene, they were able to verify that it was another organic matter container that was beginning to affect a nearby lamppost. The structure of this container was indeed compromised.
To extinguish it, they used an attack line and finally finished with a layer of medium-expansion foam.
