The Civil Guard has arrested two men as alleged perpetrators of an attempted robbery using the ram-raiding method in a jewelry store located on Avenida de Las Playas, in Puerto del Carmen, as confirmed by the Local Police of Tías to La Voz.
The events occurred around five o'clock last morning when the detainees allegedly rammed a rental car against the premises. After a police report, one of them was arrested and the other fled the scene.
However, the Local Police have confirmed that he has been identified. Furthermore, they have indicated that they are two individuals with criminal records and, in fact, one of them has recently been released from prison.
