Transferred to Molina Orosa due to smoke inhalation in the fire in his house in Puerto del Carmen

Fire in Puerto del Carmen

A man had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital for smoke inhalation in the fire in his home in Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The fire was located on the terrace of the apartment on the first floor and affected clothing and some belongings.

The fire occurred in an apartment on Avenida de Las Playas in the tourist town. After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service and firefighters were dispatched.

When the emergency teams arrived, the owner of the house had almost extinguished the fire, and the embers that remained were extinguished with water from the house itself.

The health personnel transferred the owner to Molina Orosa for inhalation of gases in the extinction work.
