The man investigated for alleged sexual abuse and grooming offenses against 61 minors, Kenneth V. V., was transferred yesterday morning from the Tahíche penitentiary center in Lanzarote to the Juan Grande prison in Gran Canaria, according to prison sources. His arrest, carried out by the Civil Guard two weeks ago in Fuerteventura—where he resided—, occurred after months of analysis of seized material and victim statements. After an initial arrest, the suspect had spent some time in El Hierro before moving to Fuerteventura. Following the protocol applicable in cases of alleged sexual predators, he does not remain alone in his cell and is under the Suicide Prevention Protocol (PPS), given the possibility of him attempting self-harm.
