Around 11:59 PM this Sunday, the Lanzarote Security and Emergencies Consortium intervened in a traffic accident registered on the LZ-10 road, near Nazaret, in the municipality of Teguise.
According to the operation, the alert was received through the CECOES for a rollover with no trapped individuals, activating the Central Park with vehicle Bravo 1 in a Level 2 service.
Upon arrival at the scene, the personnel confirmed it was a head-on collision between two vehicles. One of them remained on the roadway, while the other had gone off the road. Local Police officers were already directing traffic.
The occupants of both vehicles stated they were in good condition and did not require medical assistance. Nevertheless, a unit from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) attended the scene to assess the affected individuals, although no evacuation was necessary.
The firefighters proceeded to disconnect the battery of the vehicle that was off the road and, once authorized by the Civil Guard, the road service carried out the cleaning of the road, concluding the operation.
