National Police agents arrested a 43-year-old Spanish man last Monday in Arrecife as alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats.

The events took place at around 02:00 on the morning of December 12, when the arrested man, who was carrying a knife, began to threaten the on-duty doctor at the José Molina Orosa Hospital to prescribe him more medication. The security guards at the hospital, whom he also threatened, managed to kick him out of the premises and called the police.

Shortly after, the agents found him about 200 meters from the hospital without a shirt, with the knife and with an aggressive attitude also towards them. Finally, the police were able to arrest him.

The arrested man, who has numerous police records, was placed at the disposal of the court.
