Lanzarote emergency personnel have rescued a woman of about 70 years old who was injured on the north coast of the island. The affected person presented with multiple traumas after suffering a fall.
The incident took place around 1:15 PM this Friday, September 11, in an area near Órzola. After being alerted by the CECOES, Local Police officers, firefighters from the North Park, and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched.
The firefighters rescued the lady who was in an area of difficult access and carried her on a stretcher to the SUC ambulance.
Healthcare personnel attended to the affected person and evacuated her to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
