The Civil Guard is investigating the theft of a high-end watch, valued at 9,600 euros, which occurred this Wednesday at Joyería Santos, located on Avenida Marítima in Playa Blanca.
As confirmed by the Benemérita and stated in the complaint, a young man entered the jewelry store at around 1:00 p.m. and requested a watch of a specific brand. After trying it on, he ran out with it on his wrist. "There was no struggle, no aggression, and no one was injured," the Civil Guard reported.
The establishment's security cameras captured the perpetrator of the robbery, in images to which La Voz de Lanzarote has had access. According to the jewelry store, the perpetrator was a "tall man, from the island, not a tourist." The Civil Guard has confirmed that they are already working on his identification.
