Emergency services are currently searching for a person who fell into the sea in the area of the Pechiguera Lighthouse, on the southern coast of Lanzarote, as confirmed by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The 112 service received the call around 11:00 AM this Wednesday, so emergency services were quickly mobilized.
CECOES has activated the GES helicopter, which is in the area trying to locate the person who was in a cliff area. In addition, Salvamento Marítimo has also been activated.
