Young man injured by a knife in a fight in Playa Blanca transferred to Gran Canaria

The 21-year-old man injured by a knife in a fight in Playa Blanca had to be transferred on Friday to the Doctor Negrín Hospital in Gran Canaria to undergo surgery. However, the Civil Guard has confirmed that his prognosis remains "mild-moderate".

Thus, the Benemérita has specified that the transfer did not occur due to the severity of the injuries presented by the young man, but because he needed to undergo surgery as a result of a "puncture" he received in the abdomen.

In addition, although the Civil Guard has already identified the alleged aggressor, he continues to have not been arrested. And it is that, as they have explained from the Benemérita, the facts would be classified as a crime of injuries and, as such, the agents could only act after a complaint, which has not been filed so far by the victim.

However, the Civil Guard has stated that prevention procedures have been carried out, which have already been transferred to the Court, so that if the judge deems it so, the arrest of the alleged aggressor could proceed.
