The man who died of electrocution at midnight this Friday in the Valparaíso urbanization of Playa Blanca was Rafael Soto Betancort, 54 years old.

Soto, who was a resident of Uga, died while working on the electrical panel of the aforementioned tourist complex, working for an external company that manages the electricity of the complex.

According to the Emergency Consortium, firefighters found Rafael Soto dead next to a water leak and an electrical panel.

As a precaution, they removed the fuses from another electrical panel in the hallway, and then removed the body with the dielectric rod. In addition, they removed the body to the hallway, at which point the Health Services certified the death.

Immediately afterwards, the Local Police took charge of the custody of the corpse until the arrival of the Civil Guard, reports the Emergency Consortium.
