The National Police confirms three arrests for the violent robbery of a jewelry store in Arrecife

The National Police has already confirmed three arrests for the violent robbery at a jewelry store in Arrecife last Tuesday. One of those arrested is the alleged perpetrator of the robbery and the shooting, and the other two have been arrested as alleged collaborators.

According to La Voz, the main defendant is around 20 years old and is of South American origin. After the police investigations that led to this young man, the agents requested the collaboration of the victims, who have identified him and have confirmed that he is the alleged perpetrator of the robbery.

In addition, the National Police is investigating his possible participation in other robberies registered on the island in recent weeks, both in Arrecife and in other locations.

The National Police, which still has the investigation open, had given maximum priority to this case, given the alarm created, as it was the first robbery registered on the island at gunpoint and with two people injured by firearm.

Investigation sources point out that the agents have been working up to "15 hours a day" to find the robber, since not only the robbery was a concern but also the violence used in it.
