The firefighters have rescued this Sunday a 60-year-old hiker injured in Caldera Blanca, in the municipality of Tinajo, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The events occurred around 3:07 p.m., when 112 received an alert in which they explained that a hiker requested help after suffering a fall on the ascent path to this mountain.
After that, emergency services moved to the scene and firefighters managed to rescue the affected person and evacuated her to where the SUC ambulance was located.
The healthcare personnel attended to the woman, who suffered a moderate lower limb trauma and was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from SUC to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
To the scene also moved agents of the Local Police of Tinajo and Civil Protection, who collaborated in the rescue.
