The Civil Guard is investigating a man for stealing two bicycles valued at 3,300 euros in Famara

The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise, investigated on January 13 a 40-year-old male with initials I.V.P. - of Spanish nationality and with a police record - as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of theft of two bicycles valued at 3,300 euros.

The investigation began at the end of last December, when the first complaint was filed at the Main Post of Costa Teguise for the theft of a bicycle, with the victim of the crime reporting that someone had taken it from inside the garage, being able to access it through the main door of the building, which was broken.

Days later, another resident of the same community building reported a similar crime, as a bicycle he had in the garage had also been stolen.

The police investigations carried out by the agents allowed them to locate the sale of said bicycles in a second-hand store in the town of Arrecife, verifying that the seller - I.V.P. - had been doing painting work for some time in the building where the thefts occurred.

Therefore, I.V.P. was investigated as the alleged perpetrator of two theft crimes, remaining at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty in Arrecife.
