The Civil Guard of Tías has clarified a robbery with violence and intimidation that occurred in the early morning of May 13 in a fast food business in Puerto del Carmen, managing to arrest three people: two women aged 23 and 19, both with records, who respond to the initials C.C.V. and V.G.B., and a man with the initials S.S.V.C.

According to the Benemérita, V.G.B. and S.S.V.C took advantage of the fact that the employees were closing the establishment and entered the premises with knives, hiding their faces with balaclavas and wigs, where they intimidated and immobilized the employees to steal the collection, which amounted to approximately 1,000 euros, but without injuring anyone. The investigations of the agents of the Investigation Area of the Main Post of Tías were based on the statements of the victims, witnesses and the recordings of the video security images of the premises.

From the investigations carried out, the Civil Guard also obtained indications that determined the participation of a third person, with the initials C.C.V. This, according to the Benemérita, had been one of the robbed employees, but the agents collected enough data to believe that she was allegedly the intellectual author of the robbery, collaborating with the alleged perpetrators from within. And it is that, according to reports, the agents observed that she had carried out decisive preparatory acts to facilitate the perpetration of the robbery and, in addition, in their investigation, they learned that she had maintained a sentimental relationship with one of the perpetrators and detainees.

Thus, the described police proceedings allowed the Civil Guard to identify all the alleged perpetrators of the robbery, who were arrested between June 12 and July 1. The three arrested persons have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty, of Arrecife.
