The bundle that was found floating in Puerto del Carmen this Thursday was not drugs. Sources close to the Civil Guard have denied the news and clarified that what had been thrown into the sea was a jerrycan.
The Security and Emergency Consortium reported this Thursday that it was a bundle floating in the sea, but La Voz has learned that it was a boat that launched the object with a rope in an area near Playa Grande.
According to the information that La Voz has had access to, now, the people involved are going to be reported for entering the bathing area limits with the boat.
In addition, the bathers were the ones who alerted the Civil Guard agents and expressed their complaints about the presence of the boat.
