Six people have been injured after an accident between a bus and a car on the Vía Medular, in Arrecife, as confirmed by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The events occurred this midday near the Open Mall Shopping Center, which caused major traffic jams on the Rambla Medular. One of the witnesses told La Voz that the bus ended up on the sidewalk after the accident.
Upon arrival at the scene, health personnel attended to the six affected individuals, who presented with minor multiple contusions. Afterwards, they were transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Local Police officers, who were in charge of regulating traffic, and four basic life support ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene.
