A woman was seriously injured after being run over in the Plaza del Pueblo Marinero in Costa Teguise, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES).
The accident occurred around 00:09 hours this Thursday, July 16, in the coastal town. After being alerted, the CECOES dispatched Local Police officers and two ambulances to the scene,
Healthcare personnel attended to the affected person, a 40-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented with multiple injuries of a serious prognosis. After being stabilized, she was transferred by a SUC medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Local Police officers secured the area and drew up the report.
