National Police agents, belonging to the Family and Woman Unit (UFAM), are investigating a presumed episode of school harassment, also known as bullying, after a video went viral in which one minor harasses another, in the presence of other people of their age, who laugh and record. The images were recorded in Maspalomas, in the south of Gran Canaria.
The victim's parents filed a complaint in court on Friday morning. According to the National Police, the investigation is open within the Family and Woman Care Unit of the local Maspalomas police station.
In the video, which has been shared on various social media platforms, you can see how the minor accused of bullying another begins to mock him, while asking him "who's the fucking boss?" and threatening him with a physical fight
In the images that this media outlet has accessed, the alleged abuser takes the victim's cell phone, after hitting her several times on the arm, forces her to take a drag from a cigarette and then puts it out on her forearm. In addition, he slaps her on the right cheek.
At one point in the recording, which has been cut, one of the minors can be seen telling him to stop, seeing that the other is "flustered".
