Sanitary workers recover a man from cardiorespiratory arrest in Costa Teguise

The patient had to be transferred in a medicalized ambulance in serious condition to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital

Sanitary workers from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have recovered a 63-year-old man from a cardiorespiratory arrest on Avenida del Mar. The emergency care took place in the garden area of an apartment block in Playa Bastián in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote.

The events took place around 09:50 this Friday morning. Upon the arrival of the SUC sanitary workers, the man was in cardiorespiratory arrest.

Two ambulances, one medicalized and one basic life support, as well as Civil Guard agents, were dispatched to the scene.

SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected individual who, once stabilized, was transferred to the hospital. The patient had to be transferred in a medicalized ambulance in serious condition to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
