A zodiac with five crew members, three adults and two children, had to be rescued after the engine broke down, according to the Emergency Consortium. None of the occupants required medical assistance.
The incident took place around 3:15 PM this Saturday, September 26, about 300 meters from the coast near Los Charcones in Playa Blanca.
After being alerted by CECOES, Local Police officers, firefighters, and Maritime Rescue were dispatched. The firefighters collaborated in the safety of towing the boat to the port of Marina Rubicón.
