Paraglider rescued after accident on La Cantería beach in Órzola

A paraglider was rescued by firefighters after suffering an accident this Saturday on La Cantería beach in Órzola in the municipality of Haría. The Emergency Consortium was alerted by the Cecoes about the accident at 1:30 p.m.

According to reports from the Consortium, the injured man had a fracture in his left ankle, so the firefighters put a splint on him and transferred him on a stretcher to the ambulance.

Local Police officers, Civil Guard and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.
