A person practicing paragliding has died this Friday morning on the Risco de Famara, in Lanzarote. This was reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) to La Voz.
Following several calls reporting this incident around 1:00 PM today, the GES helicopter, along with firefighters from the Consortium, Local Police officers, and Civil Protection, immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to the CECOES, despite dispatching a helicopter to the area, the emergency services could do nothing to save him, as he had injuries incompatible with life
His body was transferred by helicopter to Lanzarote Airport, where the Civil Guard has taken charge of the case.
