One man dies and another seriously injured after falling from a height of six meters at a hotel in Costa Teguise

A tragic event took place in the early hours of this Saturday, October 25, at a hotel in Costa Teguise. At around 1:30 a.m., two men fell from a height of approximately six meters after a railing gave way.

One of them died at the scene, while the other was critically injured and evacuated by an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

Local Police agents from Teguise, Civil Guard officers, and two SUC ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

The authorities have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
