One person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred early this Saturday morning in Arrecife and had to be transported by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital after being attended by health services at the scene of the incident.
The accident occurred at 02:19 hours on Palencia street, in the Parque Central area, which led to the activation of emergency resources after the alert received by the CECOES. Members of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene, due to the initial possibility that someone might be trapped
Upon the arrival of emergency services, the driver was already out of the vehicle and was being assisted by medical personnel, who proceeded to stabilize him before his transfer to the hospital.
Once the injured person was attended to, firefighters, in coordination with the Arrecife Local Police, carried out road cleaning operations and managed the removal of the crashed vehicle with a tow truck, leaving the street once again in condition for circulationMeanwhile, police officers were in charge of drawing up the corresponding report
