Intense day that firefighters have had this Sunday. They have had to extinguish three fires that have occurred in the capital of Lanzarote, two practically in a row and another in an abandoned house in Argana Alta.
Around 1:42 p.m., the first fire occurred in one of the abandoned houses on Fajardo Street. After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police, National Police and the Emergency Consortium have moved to the site.
Upon arriving at the place, the firefighters have verified that the fire affected a house and that there was a risk of spreading to the adjoining houses. The troops have carried out the extinction and search work to ensure that there was no one inside or in the other houses.
The police agents have secured the area for the safety of pedestrians.
