Agents of the National Police have arrested on Monday night a man who stated he had killed his mother with a knife in the Canary Islands.
At 9:10 p.m., they moved to a home located in Diseminado 7 puerta, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Alerted by the CIMACC operations room, the agents confirmed that a woman had died at the scene and proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator for a crime of homicide.
At that moment, the National Police immediately notified the Judicial Authority and the corresponding protocol was activated, commissioning the Scientific Police and the team specialized in homicides.
The judicial authority ordered the removal of the body and its transfer to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
