Firefighters have rescued a minor injured after getting a fishhook stuck in his thumb in La Graciosa, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.
The incident took place around 2:40 PM this Thursday, August 27, on La Cocina beach in Montaña Amarilla.
Emergency personnel traveled to the scene on a jet ski, picked up the minor, and transported him to the port's jetty. There, a family friend was waiting to take him to the health center to treat the wound.
