Maritime Rescue rescues a small boat near the coast of Lanzarote

There were 47 people traveling in the boat, three women and one girl among them

Maritime Rescue has located a small boat this Thursday, May 4 in Lanzarote, as reported by the CECOES.

47 people of sub-Saharan and North African origin were traveling in the boat. Among them, 43 are men, three women and one girl, apparently in good condition, Emergencies reports.

The boat has reached land around 9:30 a.m. at the Arrecife Commercial pier where they have been assisted by the Red Cross. The NGO has reported that after attending to them on land, they have evacuated two of the occupants of the boat to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for different pathologies.
