Marijuana plantation dismantled in a house in Playa Blanca illegally occupied

The Yaiza Civil Guard, in coordination with agents of the Local Police, dismantled a plantation on February 27 in a house in Playa Blanca, which was also illegally occupied. For these events, the resident of the property, with initials R.A.P.E., of Spanish nationality, 42 years of age, and with a police record, has also been investigated as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of cultivation and production of narcotic substances.

The investigation began when agents of the Yaiza Local Police located a series of marijuana plants in the gardens of a house located in Playa Blanca, when they were preparing to notify its resident of a summons from a Court of Arrecife.

For this reason, after being required, agents from the investigation area of the Yaiza Civil Guard appeared "immediately" at the house, in order to carry out the appropriate steps to carry out a voluntary entry and search, with the prior consent of the resident.

A total of 409 plants seized and 30 grams of hashish

Once inside the house, the agents were able to verify the existence of several crops located both outside and inside the house, specifically 73 plants in the solarium of the house, 125 on the terraces, 93 plants inside an empty pool used as a refuge for the crop, 24 in a room and 94 in the garage,

They also located 400 grams of dry buds in the living room 400 and 30 grams of compacted hashish. All of this totaled 409 marijuana plants in different stages of growth, distributed in various individual pots, also finding all the necessary accessories to promote the growth of these plants such as lighting, fertilizer and phytosanitary products.

In addition, the circumstance was that the person under investigation was not the holder of the summons that the Local Police agents intended to deliver, since the investigated person stated that he was occupying the property illegally. According to the Civil Guard, the person who was going to be summoned is in an unknown location, and the Benemérita continues with the investigation.

The person under investigation for a crime of cultivation and production of drugs, together with the seized effects, have already been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Arrecife Duty Court.
