A man was rescued this Tuesday night after suffering a fall from a height of approximately three meters in a muddy area of the Charco de San Ginés, in Arrecife.
According to reports from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the CECOES alerted to the incident at around 22:04 hours. Units from the Central Park were dispatched to the scene, in addition to officers from the Local Police who were already at the scene upon the arrival of the rescue teams, officers from the National Police, and a medical ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service.
The emergency services carried out an initial assessment of the affected individual, who presented injuries after the fall. Subsequently, the firefighters, with the help of the healthcare personnel, evacuated the affected individual to the ambulance. Finally, the victim was transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.
