The events, which took place between the end of December 2025 and January 2026, were centered in the vicinity of a street in the town of Vecindario, where the victim reported harassment and the violation of her right to her own image
The origin of the investigation is situated in the complaint filed by a woman who stated she was being the victim of a campaign of discrediting and coercion by a man with whom she had had a romantic relationship.
According to the data collected, the aggressor, motivated by jealousy, proceeded to send photographs of an intimate nature and videos with explicit sexual content to a third party, who turned out to be the victim's former romantic partner; these images had been previously captured in a place of leisure and in a private residence, although, in no case was their dissemination to third parties authorizedThe agents carried out an exhaustive analysis of the digital evidence provided, which included screenshots of messaging applications such as Telegram and WhatsApp, where the investigated person uttered abusive expressions towards the victim. The key line of the investigation was consolidated after taking the statement of a witness, who corroborated having received sensitive material unsolicited and having been insistently contacted by the alleged perpetrator to discuss details of the woman's private lifeDuring the investigations carried out, the agents managed to locate the suspect, who despite initially showing a defiant attitude during telephone contacts, trying to evade his responsibility by alleging work reasons outside the island, the solidity of the evidence and the meticulousness of the police work forced his appearance at the official premisesThe investigated person was informed of his rights and the corresponding proceedings were initiated for the alleged participation in the criminal acts on February 2nd. The police report, which includes all documentation provided by the complainant and the result of the technical investigations, has been sent to the Instruction Section of the Court of First Instance of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
