A man of about 75 years old has lost his life this Monday afternoon after choking in one of the roadside inns of the Los Dolores festivities, in Mancha Blanca. The tragic event occurred around 6:40 PM.
The affected person was initially attended by people who were with him and, later, by the paramedics of the preventive device deployed to the area. Despite resuscitation efforts, the fatal outcome could not be avoided.
At the scene are ambulances from Boluntis and SIA, as well as agents of the Civil Guard, who are guarding the body until the arrival of the judge and the Judicial Police.
For now, it is unknown if the performances scheduled for the end of the festivities will be suspended, although what has been canceled is the music in both the roadside inns and the attractions.
