Emergency personnel carried out a new rescue in Caldera Blanca this Monday. The incident took place around 3:00 PM when the CECOES was alerted to a person falling on the mountain.
Local Police officers, the Emergency Consortium, and an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.
Once at the scene, firefighters located the victim in the upper part of the mountain and after a first observation saw that she suffered a fracture in her right ankle. Subsequently, they immobilized the limb and carried her on a stretcher to where the health services were. Finally, the SUC ambulance evacuated her to Molina Orosa.
Throughout the intervention, the presence and collaboration of Local Police officers from Tinajo were present.
