Several jellyfish have been found again this Thursday morning in Haría, specifically, on La Garita beach, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
As can be seen in the images, several jellyfish have been located on the sand, next to the shore of the beach. A situation that is repeated, after the presence weeks ago of several of them on beaches such as El Jablillo and El Reducto.
On El Jablillo beach, the red flag had to be raised and, as a result, swimming was prohibited due to the appearance of Portuguese man o' war jellyfish among the rocks and in the water. In addition, on the beach of the capital, 12 days ago, two small specimens of jellyfish were found, which were spotted by the staff that the city council has assigned to this beach for surveillance and lifeguarding.
In addition, the presence of jellyfish on La Garita beach was already announced a few weeks ago and led to the raising of a white flag with jellyfish drawn on it.
