The coast cleaning service workers found remains of a human skeleton this Tuesday, March 18, in a cave in the Charco del Palo area, in the municipality of Haría.
The discovery took place around 10:30 a.m. and the staff immediately alerted the Haría Local Police, who went to the place to confirm the discovery. After verifying that it was indeed parts of a human body, from the knee to the spine, they notified the Civil Guard.
The Judicial Police also went to the place to collaborate in the collection of the remains, which were later transferred by a funeral home to analyze the remains. Now, the Civil Guard is in charge of the investigation to determine the identity of the deceased person, the causes of death and the time that the remains could have been in the cave.
