A man had to be rescued on the afternoon of this Friday, August 1, after suffering a fall in the Tenegüime ravine, in the municipality of Teguise, which caused him a possible fracture or dislocation of the knee.
As reported by the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) reported that a person had been injured in a difficult access area.
Local Police officers and firefighters went to the scene. During the journey, they managed to contact the affected person by telephone, who provided them with his exact location, which facilitated his location.

Once at the scene, the rescuers assessed the injured man, who showed signs of a possible fracture in the knee. A bandage was applied and a splint was placed to immobilize the injured limb before proceeding to transfer him to the rescue vehicle.
Subsequently, the injured man was handed over to the paramedics of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), who were in charge of his assistance and evacuation by ambulance to Molina Orosa.
