A group of passengers on a Ryanair flight that connected the route between Madrid and Lanzarote on August 16 were locked for 15 minutes between the finger and the access doors to the baggage claim area of the César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport.

The events occurred around 11:10 p.m. and some passengers say that "they were able to leave opening the access door to passport control on their own" and that, after 15 minutes, the Airport staff opened the door.

For its part, Aena has confirmed to La Voz that "some passenger on the flight pressed the button on an access door to passport control, which did not apply to these passengers, which led them to a dead end zone."

They also explain that "from the moment it became known, in a few minutes the staff redirected them to the correct area, the baggage claim area."
