Four injured in an accident on the LZ-40

Four people, a man and three girls, were injured to varying degrees this Friday at around 10:40 p.m. in a traffic accident on the Lz.-40, according to CECOES. In the collision there were two cars involved, one of them was carrying three women, aged 43, 26 and 20, and the other a 50-year-old man

After being alerted, agents of the Local Police, the Civil Guard, the Emergency Consortium and two ambulances of the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched.

Upon arriving at the scene of the collision, the emergency teams verified that a young woman was trapped in one of the vehicles involved. The firefighters determined, in collaboration with the paramedics, the rescue measures necessary to free the trapped person. The area was secured and the release of the injured person was coordinated for later transfer to the SUC ambulance. The other two young women were able to get out of the vehicle on their own and were transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa.

As for the other vehicle, it ran off the road and its driver and sole occupant was also referred to the Hospital by ambulance.

Subsequently, the firefighters disconnected the batteries of the cars, removed them from the road and cleaned the road

Finally, the police officers were in charge of carrying out the corresponding report.
