Four people have been injured this Thursday in a multiple accident in which three vehicles were involved on the LZ-2 road, in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Coordinating Center (CECOES).
The incident took place around 10:34 a.m., when 112 was alerted to an accident. Immediately, emergency services were activated, with three ambulances, one medicalized and two others for basic life support, dispatched to the scene. Firefighters from the Emergency Consortium and Civil Guard agents also attended.
Upon arrival, SUC personnel attended to the injured. One of them was a woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a moderate chest trauma. Another of the injured was a man, who suffered a mild cervicalgia, while the other injured woman suffered mild multiple contusions. The fourth injured person was also treated for a mild cervicalgia. All of them were transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
For their part, the firefighters were in charge of securing the damaged vehicles and collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources. The Civil Guard was in charge of carrying out the corresponding proceedings.
